Welcome to the patient organization Hiv-Danmark.
Hiv-Danmark is a nationwide patient organization founded in 1991.
The organization is run entirely by volunteers.
Many people diagnosed with HIV feel very alone.
For most, talking to others who are also living with HIV can be helpful.
Sharing experiences can give the feeling that we are all ‘in the same boat’.
Relatives and others affected by HIV are also welcome to use the support options offered by Hiv-Danmark.
We hope you find what you need on this website – if not, please contact us on the info phone or ask one of the board members.
We are here if you need us!
How we support each other
No one should be alone with HIV!
Hiv-Danmark provides psychosocial support and creates communities in many ways.
We have shelters, mentoring, counseling and self-help groups.
We also work for more information in society about HIV, as well as better living conditions and protection of the rights of HIV-positive people in society.
Currently we have the following activities:

Open: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 16-22
General Manager: Jens Peder Høeberg.

Bodymapping
Bodymapping creates a framework for creative painting workshops where participating young people and adults living with HIV create images of their lives with HIV based on the following themes: past, present and future.
These workshops create space for reflection, socializing with other like-minded people and creating new friendships.”
