DESCRIPTION:On Friday\, February 20\, Kafé Knud opens its doors for communal dining and singing in celebration of Copenhagen Winter Pride. \nBent Jacobsen and Jakob Fauerby provide the atmosphere for the sing-along. \nOn the menu is: \n\nStarter: Tomato soup with sour cream.\nMain course (meat): Slow braised pork neck fillet with small roasted potatoes\, cream sauce and vegetables.\nMain course (vegetarian): Mushroom pâté with tzatziki\, small roasted potatoes and vegetables.\nDessert: Mixed ice cream with berries and waffle.\n\nPlease note that to dine with us this evening\, you need to buy a ticket in advance. It costs DKK 150\, and you buy your ticket using the link here. AIDS and death came to characterize sex and love in the 15 years that passed before a treatment arrived that changed the disease from fatal to chronic. The new book The Danish History of the AIDS Crisis tells the multifaceted story. DESCRIPTION:Dear friend\, \nAre you living with HIV and born outside Denmark – here is a special offer for you: \nThe intension is to share experiences\, to learn and to have a good time\, which will surely improve our quality of life. \n\nThis time – and in the future – we will meet in Hiv-Danmarks café – Kafé Knud in the middle of the city center. \n\nThe meeting will take place: \nSunday November 3\, 2024 from 5 pm to 8 pm \nthat \nKafé Knud\, Skindergade 21\, 1159 Copenhagen K.\n \nPlease\, do spread the good news about this new group to anyone you know\, who might be interested and could benefit from it. \nAnders Dahl\, anthropologist\, formerly employed by AIDS-Fondet and with decades of experience in the HIV-field in Denmark\, Africa and Asia will lead the group. \nAlso Gertrud Bjørning\, will be present.\nShe is an HIV activist through many years – she was diagnosed HIV positive in 1991 – and she has worked in Africa\, Latin America and Asia extensively.  \n\nPlease\, let us know if you intend to come\, in order for us to prepare for dinner\, by sending an e-mail to: anders@hiv-danmark.dk before Thursday afternoon\, October 31. \n\nLooking forward to seeing you. \nAnders Dahl \nHiv-Denmark
